The Group has been carrying out their Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) by running a Charitable Trust by the name of ‘Shankarrao. Y. Samal Foundation’. It was established in the year 1981 and since then they have been providing Educational Sponsorships to the ones in need and have also worked substantially to provide Medical help to the underprivileged. They have constructed and donated a pilgrim home by the name of ‘Samal Dharmashala’ to the Tuljabhavani Temple Trust at Tuljapur, Osmanabad. Mr. Shrikant. S. Samal has been the founder member and serves as the trustee of ‘Swaroop Wardhini Foundation’ under which numerous social welfare activities are carried out every year. The Group has also been substantially contributing towards the betterment of the sports infrastructure and promotion of sport related activities.
